“A Song Of Ice And Fire” Character Sketchbook Spread.
This is going to be a really geeky post, but bear with me. HBO just announced that they are a greenlighting a TV adaptation of my favorite fantasy novel epic by George R.R. Martin. I can’t imagine how they will pull it off; I’ve never read another book with so many characters. Look at that two-page spread I drew of character portraits. (…still unfinished since the series is only half-published!)  I just want to implore everyone to read the books now before you see the show because it’s an awesome experience.

Yeah there are a decent amount of characters in Song of Ice and Fire, but it’s got nothing on Wheel of Time in that department. WoT has like 50 different POVs and probably close to 300 hundred characters that have the same significance as characters like hot pie, margarey tyrell, and the blackfish.
